Megan Rowand, LMHC, MFT

I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and am also a Nationally Board Certified teacher. I understand the cognitive, social, and emotional development needs of children and adolescents, while also recognizing the critical role and influence caregivers have on their child’s development.

I am passionate about leading adults, children and their families along a path that leads to increased emotional responsiveness and connection. My counseling practice is influenced by a strength-based approach, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy. I use a structured and informed approach to counseling while also honoring individual differences.
